MAKING THE CANDLE
The first thing you need to do in this candle making process is to heat the wax in the pot. It is very important that you make sure it does not heat up higher than 180. Ok, so the wax is heating up now. While keeping an eye on the wax, start preparing the rest of the ingredients.
up. Throw a little in and allow the wax to set. This will allow the wick to stay steady through the process. Pour in the rest. Remember the wax is very hot and you should be extremely careful. Keep a little wax over to finish off the candle. It is normal for the candle to 'shrink' or contract as it cools down. You will need the rest of the wax to fill it up. Make a few small holes near the string and simply fill up the hole. Now you will agree that candle making is not as difficult as you might have thought.
Well, your first candle is done! How does it feel? Remember this might not be the most beautiful candle, but remember, this is the basics. There are a lot of more candle making tips you will find on this site so you can take a break or go on right to the next article right now.

Now while the wax is soft, you need to carefully steady the wick (string) in the
container with something straight like a pencil. Start carefully pouring the wax into the container, still keeping the wick steady. When you pour the wax in, do not fill it
